Sunday Church School - WMCSBN

The Church School is being held at the same time as the Sunday Worship Service
i.e. 8.00 - 9.30 am at the Youth Center. The goal of the church school is to equip the children with strong biblical teachings and to prepare them for worship and participate in the main church.

It is a small orientation group structured to minister and meet the spiritual needs of the children attending the church school. Classes are designed to put christian teachings into practical application in daily living. It is the prayerful hope that every graduated church school child with the basic biblical teachings will be able to present John 3:16 Gospel and put into practise the Great Commission: "Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20).

The classes are classified into four age groups namely Pre-school, Std 1-3, Std 4-6 and Form 1-3. This year we have an enrollment of 41 students and a team of 22 committed pool of volunteer teachers and helpers. The enrollment in the church school have consistently increased over the past few years mainly due to implementing of interesting programmes, concepts and teaching lessons in classes. Exciting ice breakers and games are introduced to build interaction among students to prepare them to focus and participate actively in the praise and worship session. Picture and action typed scripture memory verses are used to encourage the students to remember these bible verses and apply them in their daily living.

Together with the care group ministry, celebration events such as Easter, Childrens' Day and Christmas party are organised to foster a closer relation between the children and adults for the bond of christians' love. Other programmes such as Chinese New Year celebration, Parents' Day and Family camp are lined up to ensure closer interaction with the main church as a whole.

We strongly encourage all parents to sent their children or grandchildren or invite their neighbour's children to attend church school, for together we can build a kingdom of God's people in the Wesley Methodist Church Seremban : "Come and taste for the Lord is good".
